Nothing seems to going into England’s favor. Anderson bowling all over the places and Harmison (I expected a lot from him) bowling too short with the used ball and letting Australia play with freedom from no worry of losing any wickets. It was another Australian’s well deserved day. I honestly believed that test will be England but after seeing their tremendous performance in both forms bowling and batting I actually now want Australia to win this test match so desperately. It will be even great if England fight back on the 3rd day but chances are very unlikely where they have got just Matt Prior who might have even gotten out on the 2nd day but got lucky. England should know by now the only chance they have left now is drawing this test but that will be very hard if they are even considering that option. Test result was clear yesterday when we saw Australia being on top when there were 14 wickets were fallen in the day. I am actually enjoying this test even though I don’t support Australia.
This is called “war” between the two English nations. Lets look at the pattern of this Ashes series: [1st test: Australian's way but draw] [2nd test: England wins] [3rd Test: Rain interruptions (draw)] [4th test: Australians(hopefully)] [5th Test: Take a good guess? Who knows!] Lets rewind 2 tests back – how did England win? wait let me guess… It was Flintoff! After seeing 2nd day’s play England’s body language tells all about it (We’re losers) but if Flintoff was in this match he could have definitely brought some excitement for the crowd to cheer about something and some spirit in players. England just seems to have all their hope lost without having Flintoff in their side I would say. As for 3rd day it is 100% decided that this test is headed Australian’s side. Now all I want is some action from the England tail-enders so crowd can cheer about something before they go home tomorrow.
