Extended Channel 5 – Day 2 Highlights:

Day 2 Preview: We only had 1 session of play on Day 1 of 3rd Test at Edgbaston and Shane Watson’s smooth 62 was highlight of the day. English bowlers except for James Anderson failed to have much impact. The pitch was slow and outfield was fast. Slightest mistake by the bowler would be punished and that was the story of the day.

On to day 2 – once again, Andrew Flintoff will be the key to England’s success. If Flintoff can take a couple of wickets in the morning, it could potentially change the game around. His very presence puts fear in some Australian batsmen mind especially the left handers. This mental effect can help the bowler on the end, which England successfully did at Lord’s. I expect this game to be a draw as the pitch looks very slow and a batting paradise.
