Day 2 Preview: At the end of first day’s play, England still have the upper hand at 364/6 where opening stand of Cook and Strauss completely demolished Australia’s bowling. A very enjoyable day for the England’s crowd especially the partnership of Cook and Strauss where they added 196 for the first wicket. England’s middle order failed yet again. Onto 2nd day’s play, England should be looking to extend their total to 450 but extremely hard work is required from the tail-enders. Australia would be looking to take the remaining 4 wickets before showers hit the play. At this moment, both teams are on the edge and no conclusion can be made but end of tomorrow day’s play will give us some significant info on where this match is headed.
