Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal lead the Pakistani fightback in the bowling department and similar feat was established by Fawad Alam. After years of struggle and trying different combinations, Pakistan might have found a good opening batsman now. Sri Lanka posted a lead of 150 runs, which can be quite big of a lead, as we saw in the first test match. Fawad Alam finished the day with 102 off 153 balls along with Younis Khan at 35 runs from 81 balls. It is a great feat by Alam surviving against the dangerous Mendis for such a long time. I think this Test match will actually turn into a close one. Pakistan will probably get a lead of 250 runs and Sri Lanka will have to be careful while chasing it.
