^ Maybe you need to take Physics courses where you will taught that rounded numbers are meaningless. In fact, even 8.87 saying is 9 is in fact major error and you could be awarded 0 points for that.

    Where did I say that?

Rounding a numerical value means replacing it by another value that is approximately equal but has a shorter, simpler, or more explicit representation; for example, replacing $23.4476 with $23.45, or the fraction 312/937 with 1/3, or the expression √2 with 1.414.

Rounding is often done on purpose to obtain a value that is easier to write and handle than the original. It may be done also to indicate the accuracy of a computed number; for example, a quantity that was computed as 123,456 but is known to be accurate only to within a few hundred units is better stated as "about 123,500."

Hughes doing well doesn't surprise me. He has a remarkably good record in ODD's and you don't spend years belting the Shield attacks we have at the moment unless you're a good player.
I've always classed Hughes in the same brand as Prior, in that he scores quickly in FC, but has limited scoring options so often struggles in OD.

We were talking economy rates yes, all I did was round it to the nearest single-digit figure. If you wanna have a go at someone, have a go at Oscar. He somehow managed to round it up to 10.

Rounding is rounding... every decimal digit counts toward econ rate. Overall, they don't round every match figures from 6.7 to 7. If that was the case, players would have messed up figures or that to say whole numbers.

Starc has 4 overs 3 maidens 2/12 in the current county match. An LBW and a bowled. (Both right-handers, meaning the ball is swinging for him).

    Problem, Oscar?

I assume you mean the quality of the opposition is no good? Well, I guess we'd better take away all of Broad/Bresnan/Anderson/Swann's wickets against WI this series then eh?

You saying this WI line up is worse than Northants?

Northants really are terrible though. It's no surprise Starc takes wickets against **** counties, but then gets tonked when he comes up against champions like Luke Wright.

He hasn't played Wright in anything other than a 40-over match yet.

And yeah their top order is for sure. They all average like 20.

Why aren't Hughes and Khawaja in the Gloucs/Derbyshire sides respectively?

Philip hughes is 23* for Worcestershire silly.

He's managed to stay in against the wrath of Peter Trego. Sings of improvement

Compton needs 59 runs to get to 1,000 before the end of may, and he's fielding first. Won't do it

GTFO Guptill. Overrated minnow basher. Let a proper batsman take your place.

I'm laughing because that's what Derbyshire clearly think. I don't really know who's better to be honest.

Dude Guptill is rubbish. Proven rubbish too. Khawaja is good, just lost form last summer.

^ Don't compare Khawaja to Marsh. They're nothing alike. Khawaja is younger, has a better FC record and a better technique. Marsh was a rubbish FTB with a pathetic FC record. Nothing similar. Khawaja has never been "horrible". He's got into double figures every single test innings bar one (in Hobart on the most vicious pitch in recent memory). He just needs to get some form back at FC level.

Also Khawaja had to bat on nightmare tracks. The two times he got to bat on GOOD tracks. (Brisbane and Kandy), his opportunities were cut short. In Brisbane Ponting ran him out, in Kandy, he was 13* when Clarke had to declare.
