why would one hate the Idea of free health care, its so Damn expensive man. Canadians are very lucky to have free health care.
People hate it because they have to pay tax on it, and are technically paying for other peoples health care. There's something about the whole idea of communism they don't like. Not sure if it's due to the Cold War?

Yeah you pay rom tax, but you don't have to pay if you need an operation right?
I am not sure what you mean by free? You get free checkup etc? is that what you are saying? or free medicine?

oh no. we don't. As long as you have MSP and you are a resident in Canada you don't have to pay for operations etc. Its all covered.

In England if you needed a kidney transplant it wouldn't cost you anything. Is that the case in Canada?

yes pretty much it. You don't have to pay for anything to get organs in your body, but they don't just put it inside you. Takes so much paper work and approval and ****.
Yes, perks are nice to have.
