    CSB watch out for Finn's speeds. Won't be anywhere near as quick as they were in the ODI's #Notonsteroids

    I was about to say, I wonder if he's been dosing up on roids in his time off...

    CSB believes Finn has been on steroids. Because his pace has gone up 2 miles per hour in the last 2 years.

    Hmm, Finn still in the 130s. Obviously the roids must've worn off by now. I don't rate Finn if he's not going to bowl as fast as he did in Asia.

    He went from bowling 130 kph to bowling like 155 in 6 months man.

    If that's not steroid abuse then Finn must've been pumping iron for like 20 hours a day 7 days a week.

    It's not a growth or an increase in strength or anything.

    This is why people need to be able to differentiate between the different formats. Finn isn't even bowling as quickly as Bresnan was in the Ashes or against India.

    Test=/=ODI

    **** sake I even showed you Finn's speed in the Australia ODI's. Was regularly over 90mph.

    He was bowling over 90 mph in the Australia ODI's. Now he's bowling in the mid 80's.

    Finn

    he's slowly picking it up -

    Finn to Barath, no run, 139.7 kph, exaggerated movement off the seam, jags back at Barath and strikes him on the arm

    Is Finn kicking the stumps in delivery his new version of falling over which he used to do quite a lot?

    England's bowling hasn't impressed me much today. Attack looks pedestrian without the lawyers.

    Lawyers = Anderson & Broad.

    Come on, don't try to tell me that "Anderson & Broad" doesn't sound like some kind of law firm.

    30.1 Finn to Barath, 1 run, dropped! oh boy. Bell has dropped another sitter at third slip. Back of a length from Finn, it climbed and took the shoulder of the bat and looped at head-height to Bell but it burst through his hands. Not sure Bell will be there much longer

    Bell-end.

    England's catching really is weird. All evidence suggests it should be good, but it's just really, really bad.

    I'd forgotten how annoying the crowd in Edgbaston was.

    They just never STFU. Loud-mouthed idiots.

    Lord's is way better.

    They were really good during the Ashes. Just goes to show how important catching is. Our catching was fail during the Ashes, no wonder we kept conceding such massive totals.

    Think we miss Colly to be honest. Our ground fielding is always good, but our catching has been poor ever since the Ashes. Struass is a terrible slipper, Swann shells a few, Anderson is good but he's often bowling, Bres and Bell have dropped a few.

    Talking about Bell wearing sunglasses in the cloudy whether. Definitely a weird thing to do. The umpires are wearing light enhancing glasses FFS!

    Strauss a terrible slipper? Really? I've not seen him drop many. Swann is an excellent catcher too.

    Our slip cordon is usually Clarke at first, Ponting at 2nd, Watson at 3rd. I understand why Watson fields at slip (so he doesn't have to run around too much) but I don't think he's the greatest catcher TBH. He drops quite a few.

    Yeah on a cloudy day like that wearing sunglasses seems retarded.

    Bravo.

    Struass drops quite a few. He dropped an ABSOLUTE Sitter at Lords against India last year, dropped a sitter in the UAE and dropped a sitter in SL. Watosn actually usually fields at first doesn't he? That's because it's generally the easiest, so people like him and Strauss field there. Usually 3rd slip is the hardest so you get the Clarke's, Anderson's, Ponting's, Collingwood's, de Villier's etc...

    England's catching just pisses me off a lot. We're an incredibly professional side and work hard on it. We shouldn't drop as many as we do.

    Bravo does a Katich

    A Katich: "To chip a length delivery of Steven Finn straight back to him, usually in a soft manner. The batsmen is often a left hander and the catch is occasionally dramatic"
